If you don't know me already, I am an Area Promotions Director and Presenter for Powder Blue Productions, Chalene Johnson's Company, where Turbo Jam was born from her popular workout, Turbo Kick. In addition to providing trainings and teaching Turbo Kick, PiYo and STEP, I also run a Boot Camp in East County San Diego. For additional fun, I like to do hikes and competitive races for good causes. My healthy lifestyle and fitness commitment helps me to manage a busy family and to enjoy life!

Someone called me THUNDER THIGHS when I was only in 6th grade! Never forgetting this remark, I developed a poor body image. In High School and college, I carried 10-20 extra pounds which came off when I started running and teaching aerobics classes in the late 80s.
Fast forward to 1993-Just Married. Hubby loves to cook and FRY food! Best combat: 3-4 day a week teaching STEP classes until I got pregnant with child #1. At 6 months pregnant, Dr. strongly suggested that I STOP teaching STEP class so I reluctantly quit. Overwhelmed with new motherhood and a thriving real estate business, more children came and 40 pounds packed on in the process! Y2K: Once I realized the morning walks were no longer working to take the accummulated baby weight off, I joined the gym. Exercise has always been the ticket for me.
It had been 4 years since taking a class at a gym let alone teaching. I got hooked on Turbo Kick (health club version of Turbo Jam) & marked my weekly calendar for Brenda's classes and eventually added in running again. Some time after baby #3 and my 39th birthday, I decided to teach fitness classes again-my "mid-life crisis" I told my husband. I got re-certified with AFAA and am teaching STEP, Turbo Kick, and have my own Boot Camp business!
I do not beleive in DIETS! If you exercise regularly, refuel with the correct healthy food/portions after workouts and throughout the day, you may never have to Diet again! It is never too late to start-no more excuses! Not everyone enjoys the gym or has time to work around the class schedule so Beachbody has all the power packed videos from the best trainers in the country that you can do from home or at work whenever you want to!
