It’s Time to Take Control

If you have the will, Autumn will show you the way. Are you ready to give your total effort to the way you look and feel? Are you ready to commit to making real change?

Autumn breaks 9 Week Control Freak into 3 phases, 3 weeks each, that build in intensity, so you avoid plateaus. Give her everything you’ve got for about 30 minutes, and you’ll get stronger and faster while you shed serious pounds. There are 5 workouts a week—3 feature density training, strength complexes, and Tabata-inspired cardio to help build lean muscle and burn fat, while 2 other workouts focus on either total-body toning or more Tabata-inspired cardio and core training. There are also 2 days of rest.

In addition to dumbbells, a core ball, and a step, you’ll also use the Control Track, which offers dynamic resistance from a range of heights and angles, and constant tension throughout each rep.

9 Week Control Freak encourages a proactive approach to rest and recovery. People take it for granted, but Autumn knows that real, true, mindful rest will help your body recover faster and more effectively between workouts so you can perform better during them. Each night, Autumn helps you relax your body and reframe your mindset through controlled stretches so you’re ready to push harder the next day.

Since 9 Week Control Freak is shot in real time, you’ll be working out and progressing along with Autumn and the cast. No two workouts are identical. The structure of the workouts won’t change from week to week, but the exercises you do and/or the way you perform them will. The payoff: more variation, greater motivation, and more dramatic results.

Here’s an overview of the workouts:

DCT-T Each workout features a combination of three innovative methods:

Density Training: You’ll do as many sets of 5 different exercises as you can before the time runs out. You control the pace and intensity, but the goal is to take as little rest as possible. The harder and faster you go without sacrificing good form, the more fat you’ll burn and the more muscle you’ll build.

Strength Complexes: Autumn stacks moves together in a way that maximizes your time and results by efficiently targeting multiple muscle groups to build greater strength.  You’ll only need one pair of dumbbells or the Control Track for each complex, but you won’t put them down until you’ve completed every set of every exercise. No rest equals more time under tension—a key growth stimulus.

Tabata Cardio: Crush calories and burn fat as you help chisel your body and increase endurance by challenging your speed, strength, and staying power.

TOTAL BODY TONE Heavy lifting and compound (multi-joint) exercises provide a full-body strength-building session that leaves no muscle untouched.

OFF THE WALL This accessible collection of workouts is designed to give you the 9 Week Control Freak experience, but without most of the main program’s equipment. It includes 15 workouts total—5 for each of the 3 phases, meant to be done for 3 weeks each. Following the original 9 Week Control Freak program with the equipment is the best way to achieve results.

AUTUMN’S 10-MINUTE BONUS WORKOUTS Add one to any workout to target a particular muscle group based on your personal goals.

REMOTE CONTROL These 5 workouts mimic one full week of 9 Week Control Freak, but are meant to be done when you don’t have access to your dumbbells or step—for example, if you’re traveling. They are full workouts that utilize the Core Ball and the Control Track, giving you the same intense workout you’d normally do, so you never have to pause your 9 week commitment.
