Tell us about your life before you started the program. How did you feel about yourself and your body?
Before starting Beachbody in February of 2016 with 21 Day Fix, I was very depressed that I had allowed myself to gain extra weight. I felt terrible, very bloated, tired, no energy, and very unhappy. None of my clothes fit. I hated my body and myself for gaining so much weight. My diet was not very good and I was eating everything in sight. No food preparing for meals so I would eat the fastest and easiest thing to get for meals. I also ate lots of carbs. I was not conscious of what I was eating and how it was affecting my body.
What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?
I had been watching my Coach, Clarence Price, and seeing her results and all the benefits she was receiving from Shakeology. I wanted to really give the program a try. I had been putting off starting the program because I didn’t have the money. One day I realized that I still had Christmas money that I hadn’t used so I used it to purchase the 21 Day Fix Challenge Pack. After going through the program for a few months, I’ve lost 25 lbs. and 15 inches. I gained back my self-confidence and started loving my body again. I love the food plan and learning how to change my eating habits to healthier food choices. I loved the recipes I was getting from my Challenge Group. I love the energy that I was getting from Shakeology and how it was curbing my cravings.2 I have come to love Shakeology and can’t wait to get my exercise in and have my shake for the day.
What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?
The biggest challenge was learning how to make healthy food recipes, and nighttime snacking. I love the very tasty recipes that Beachbody gives us from the Challenge Group. Learning how to use my food guide to help me make healthier evening snacks so I didn’t feel deprived.
What in particular did you like about the program you chose?
I love the container counting rather than calorie counting. The food choice guide, so I could make things that I really liked. The exercise program was awesome as it targeted all the areas of my body that needed toning.
Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program. Which achievements are you proud of?
I lost 25 lbs. and 15 inches and I am so proud of myself for sticking to this program so that I was able to love my body again and myself. I love the better posture.
How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?
I have more energy now and I have the tools to stick with a healthy lifestyle for life. I walk with pride in my step now.
How did participating in a Challenge Group help you reach your goals? How did your group support you and keep you accountable?
The Challenge Group was incredible. I loved the support and encouragement that each member gave on the good and bad days. The Challenge Group was a huge part of my success and kept me accountable which was what I needed.

Clarenda was there for me every step of the way and gave me the push when I needed it and the support and guidance to reach my goal.
